He is a co-author of 3 patent applications and 1 utility model (for 3D printing materials). In 2015, he was awarded the Gold medal of “Incheba at Slovmedica 2015” for Superhydrophobic biodegradable polymer materials for medical application. He was/is the principal investigator of several international projects, including Horizon (from 2022), ERA-Net, Qatar Foundation, and a member of the research teams FP5, FP6, FP7, COST, and the DAAD. Her research focuses on the preparation and characterization of polymers such as dimethacrylates and epoxy-based thermosets using techniques such as positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy, near-infrared spectroscopy, electron paramagnetic resonance, and broadband dielectric spectroscopy. In these topics she has long-term collaborations with the group of Professor Robert Liska from TU Wien and the group of Professor Giovanni Consolati from Politecnico di Milano. She has published 77 papers in peer-reviewed journals indexed in Web of Science.
