We are delighted to welcome you to BIMac 2026: “Polymers and Polymer (Nano)composites”, the next chapter in the esteemed Bratislava conference series, proudly organized by the Polymer Institute, Slovak Academy of Sciences since 1968.
This conference will bring together researchers and industry experts to explore cutting-edge advancements in both fundamental and applied aspects of polymer chemistry and physics. Our program will cover key topics, including:
- Synthesis and characterization of polymers
- Composite polymeric materials
- Polymeric biomaterials
- Molecular simulation of polymers
Beyond sharing the latest scientific discoveries, BIMac 2026 aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, spark innovative ideas, and strengthen professional networks.
We also wish to honor the memory of our esteemed colleague, Mária Omastová, DrSc., whose groundbreaking contributions to polymer nanocomposites have left a lasting impact on the field.
Join us in High Tatras for an inspiring exchange of knowledge and ideas!
